I'm female, so I'd have to say

Matthew McFayden (Pride and Prejudice)
Clark Gable (Gone with the Wind)
Laurence Olivier (Rebecca)
Edward Cullen (Twilight - even if you don't like the book, seriously, who wouldn't want to date him?!!)

That's pretty much it for right now.

Oh wait
if we're allowed to do TV shows, then:
Nathan Kress
Suede (Project Runway)
Jeff (Top Chef: New York)
or Hosea
Or FAbio (all from Top Chef: New York)
Will Smith (MIB) on tbs
Last but not least:
David Archuleta!!! (I will always defend him, mind you.)

And of course,
Michael Crawford, but that's obvious

Only one person on that list is a fictional character. I'd say zero, but your wording for Will Smith is pretty cryptic.

Viscountess - I feel really stupid. It's like I don't even look at the freaking titles of the threads anymore. *Sighs* Sorry about that. (However, for those in movies, I count 'em as the fictional characters they portray.)

Kostos...I haven't thought about that character in awhile. If I had to pick someone from that series, I'd pick Win (3rd book) because he's a sweetie.
My list
Gilbert Blythe: handsome, intelligent, gentlemanly, and has an excellent sense of humor
Col. Brandon (based on book): He's so noble and dignified... yet so tragic *sighs*
Atticus Finch: probably due to Gregory Peck...oh well!
Colin Singleton (Abundance of Katherines): he's incredibly intelligent, funny, and althogether charming

I have more, but I can't think of them or why I like them.

Ooh! yeah Sam's a good one, he's so sweet.

Back on track: who I came here with the intention to say was Spock.

Oh my jeez. I never thought I would ever be into anything Star Trek related but wow. I didn't know a thing about it before I saw the movie last weekend (and I might add that this makes me sound hoplessly ignorant) but I have even changed my desktop to a giant picture of Spock.
He's so beautiful with his perfectly angular face/eyebrows, his adorable freckled nose, his haircut, and pointy ears. It's so funny because I absolutely loathe ears normally I find them disgusting and fleshy *pulls face* but I don't know what it is that makes me love his so much.
Also I understand that he is half vulcan and vulcans have the whole lack of emotion thing going on but the fact that he does display emotion, I feel is especially adorable ^__^
Also I love his voice,

"Live long, and prosper"

*swoons*

This is an awesome thread :D

I would love to date:

Any of James McAvoy's (sp?) roles.
Marty McFly (Back to the Future)
Doug Dorsey (The Cutting Edge)
Tuxedo Mask/Darien/Chiba Mamoru (Sailor Moon) - yeah, he's even more fictional by way of being a cartoon..

In memory of my 12 year-old self (i.e. ones I no longer would like to date, lol):
Han Solo
Luke Skywalker
Maverick (AKA Tom Cruise in Top Gun)

Odo, Data or Spock. All from Star Trek. I love them so much, they're all brilliant characters!
As well, perhaps Garak from Star Trek too. He's really mysterious .

um...most of these are from stories I wrote in elem. or mid. school.

Josh (uber nice and sweet and has a love-hate relationship with the main character)
Jimmy (sadly, he's head-over-heals in love with his girlfriend in the story and could never love me )
Westly from The Princess Bride (with eyes like the sea after a storm...)

Knowing me, I would probably fall for someone like Gringoire from Notre Dame de Paris. I like 'em adorably dorky.

I would also say Grantaire from Les Miserables. Even when you keep the near-constant drunkenness in the picture, he's a very deep and philosophical, yet easygoing kind of guy who at least needs a hug.

  • Ugh, i have too many.
Umm, realisticly speaking (as in who i could actually handle), Bruce Wayne (er, however you spell his name, Batman) Mika Ver Leth (Cirque Du Freak) Severus Snape (Harry Potter) Charlie Weasly (Harry Potter) Niteowl 2 (Wachmen)
Now for guys i would probably try to kill or they would kill me. The Joker (Batman) Adrian Veidt, Rorschach (Watchmen) Dracula (Dracula) and a lot of others. Fictional guys are so much better then real ones,

I've always had a soft spot for Mr. Darcy from the Pride & Prejudice book and 2005 film. So sauve and debonair. A complete ass at times, of course, but still so...ah.

    I'd marry...

Will Turner from Pirates of the Caibbean. He's sweet. I mean, he loved Liz allllll that time, and did everything he could to save her. And the whole "take my heart, it's always belonged to you" thing at the end of the 3rd movie was so sweet. Haaaaa.

    I love you Nerys.

Apart from everything Nerys posted, I'd also like to go out with Harry Kim (Heh, Voyager...) or Trip Tucker (Heh, Enterprise...)

Aaaannd just so I don't sound like a total Star Trek geek, I also wouldn't mind going out with George from Alien Nation.
