Le Nouvel Opéra de Paris by Charles Garnier

I meant to post this the 8. Jan, but the site was down so no such luck.

Anyway 8. Jan, 98 years ago, the final installment of Le Fantôme de l'Opéra was published. To mark the occasion I decided I'd take the time to scan and post "Le Nouvel Opéra de Paris" by Charles Garnier. This might be "the works of Charles Garnier" that Leroux referenced in his prologue, but either way I think it's a great resource about Opera Garnier (I say think because I don't speak French so I'm not sure).

The scans can be found on photobucket: Vol 1 and Vol 2.

I'm afraid I only have the "text only" version so there isn't any pictures, though morgan388 posted a link to some pictures from "Le Nouvel Opéra" in Erik: "Phact of Phiction"? (#381).

Feel free to download and post these images on your site (if you have one), but please don't put your logo on them or demand that people ask you permission before using them, "Le Nouvel Opéra" is in public domain so everybody should have a right to use the scans.

I hope that those with French skills will let the rest of us in on any interesting tidbits.

NOTE
The following pages are missing because they were blank, if I missed any pages let me know.
Vol 1: 008, 036, 050, 072, 94, 108, 144, 162, 180, 202, 214, 296, 300, 312, 390, 398, 460, 468, 476
Vol 2: 52, 116, 196, 210, 368

I popped over for a quick look... it's nearly 500 pages.

I'm impressed with your patience and dedication, Falluke-elskeren. Thank you so much for making it accessible to other people like this.

When I have time I'll be back to read it. Have a couple of other things on hand (Husson-Casta translation among other things) that I need to get out of my hair.

Wow, falluke-elskeren, you are amazing. I have been trying to get someone to create an electric file of this book for YEARS! Thanks so much! And thanks for messaging me on youtube, because I haven't logged on to the forum in a while and might have missed it :)
